An adventure in pictures to the Amazon Rainforest

The Amazon rainforest is located in South America and is approximately 7,000,000 square kilometers and is spread through 9 countries with Brazil owning around 60%.

The Amazon has around half of the earths rainforests and an estimated 390 billion trees.

The Amazon river which runs through the Amazon rainforest is considered the second longest river in the world. Recently there have been arguments that it is in fact longer than the Nile.
