in #photography7 years ago

like your post @nspart, I am just getting into photography, Been doing a bit of Food photography and I enjoy it, I am taking a night course to get a little better.
I notice that you like to retouch your images after your shoot, do you always use photoshop?
I have been using paint.net for my images just as a free option, i would not know were to start with phtotoshop, it looks so over powering.
any tips would be good. cheers my friend

Yes I always use Photoshop and lightroom. Photography is only 50% of my work most of the time.

It's worth it. But there is a lot to learn.

I have been following you for some time @nspart and the work you do is top quality and you get to see lovely ladies, :~)
Don't think my wife would let me do your job haha.
My dad used to years ago worked as a photographer for a high street retailer but I can't remember which one, he got a lot of work from them but it was seasonal or when promotions were on.
no photo shop in them day lol.
he bought me my first camera when I was a we lad. I remember him trying to teach me how to take pictures of flowers using natural light, for some reason I had my finger in all the pictures.
how times have changed.
cheers for replying :)
