In both photography and life, I’ve learned this:
the closer I get, the more I truly see.
When I first started capturing the world, I was drawn to vastness
walls, skies, open space.
But over time, I realized that the real stories
live in the details.
A dried flower, a cracked line, a quiet fold in a petal
these things don’t shout
but they hold entire lifetimes.
It’s the same with people
with love
with the self.
From a distance, everything is shaped by assumptions.
But when you move in
gently, honestly
you begin to see what’s really there
not perfection
but truth.
Photography taught me to look again.
Art taught me to get closer.
Life confirmed it.
So I keep walking forward
lens in hand
heart open.
Because the closer I get
the more I find out.
