Horse riding requires special skill and courage because if someone is wrong in riding a horse will make us hurt. Moreover children are involved in horse races with no regard for safety with safety clothes.
In the city takengon, every year always done horse racing followed by adults and children. The horse race was held to celebrate the 441th anniversary takengon.
Traditional gayo horse racing performances to preserve Gayo community culture and also to attract tourists to visit the city takengon.
