California Sunsets #12 - Ferris Wheel
It was cloudy all day, however as evening set in, you sensed the sunset was going to be something special. However, I don't think any of us were prepared for the Santa Monica Ferris Wheel to make this truly special.
Here is a 15 minute time-lapse from 6pm (Pacific Time) that shows the magical transformation. (No filters, no editing)
These photos were taken today (Wednesday) near Lifeguard Tower 21.
The Ferris Wheel is located on the Santa Monica Pier and is the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel measuring about 26 meters in height.
Malibu is located at the left end of the mountain range.
Mother Nature + Ferris Wheel = Synchronized Sunset?

I think second one is the best due to reflection. Ferris wheel is also nice detail in the shots!
