The guardians of the old mountain.

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Ancient rocks from the bottom of the ancestral sea, today they are more than 1500 meters from the level of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in Formia in the Lazio region, Italy, my native land.

And here today I want to take you, with my photos, made in my last solo ascents, surrounded by the guardians of the place, the cows in the almost wild state, which like the policemen control, who climbs and those who descend from the mountain, sometimes giving him even a rope stroke!

I go, I venture, through the paths of the ancient brigands, in search of the universal answers, which echo in the head of every man, especially for those looking for the truth, like the echo of these wild valleys.

Thousands of tired, stressed and all too "civilized" people are beginning to understand that going to the mountains It's like coming home and that uncontaminated nature is not a luxury but a necessity.

Grazie..! Si era giá fatto tardi.. é non ho avuto modo di fare in bilingue! Ma sono fiducioso che le foto possano parlar da sole.. ed essere apprezzate anche dai colleghi Italiani! ;-)

Ok va bene. Ricorda però che manca il tag ita. A presto 😉

Thank you very much ! Yes, they are mountain cows!

This writing of yours "I go, I venture, through the paths of the ancient brigands, in search of the universal answers, which echo in the head of every man, especially for those looking for the truth, like the echo of these wild valleys." touched my heart.

How lucky you are to stay in such a beautiful place such as Italy. !

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked my sentences! I lived there for 30 years, and now I live in Brazil, as soon as possible I always go back to those places! Greetings

Thank you for the post :) Italy is truly a beautiful country with lots to discover! Cinque Terre, even it was very tourisitc, was definitely one of our favorite places in Italy...

Thank you very much! Yes Italy is full of beautiful places, good food and good people! We could live only with tourism there, but politicians do not want this, otherwise how would they steal?
