EMERGENCY HELICOPTER LAND ENDED TO AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHS

We had paid for the flight a day ahead. It was a tour of all the resorts by the beach and a sight seen from above of one of the tallest waterfall in that area.

Our pilot took off around 12:38pm, right on time. Even though it was our first time and I am bit scared of height, it was a smooth flight. We were all loving it. On the way our pilot was showing us all the resorts and other water based excursions we could do there. The beaches were so long and beautiful. It was all clean blue water of the Atlantic ocean till the horizon. Wow!

After almost 20-25 minutes we were above the mountains and the pilot was telling us we are almost there. We could see the fall from far away. It looked more like a thick bright line. Couple minutes more and we were as close as we could get. And our pilot told us we could take pictures while we’ll make few rounds around it.

All of a sudden, it felt like our pilot was having some trouble controlling the helicopter, but we had no clue. He was talking to the control room in spanish, so we couldn’t understand a word. After some conversation with them, he said he’ll be landing in front of the fall; and to our surprised he actually landed on that tiny space right in front of the fall. He said we have an hour to enjoy here.

We came out and wow, it was freaking awesome. What a view and what a story to tell. Actually, I just made up the story but view is real. We enjoyed every second there. We swam, we had our snacks, we took pictures. That’s what we paid for. 😛
