This is a statue of one of the early and local miners in the Gold town of Obuasi.
I happen to have visited my roots, the town in which I was where I was born, yeaterday
Very nice! Gold town must have all sort of stories about Mining and the virtues of patience and what happens when people find Nuggets of gold, how people go crazy for gold, and now Bitcoin and steem, the digital gold, cryptocurrency, we see that this is all about forcing people to recognize those who save the money that CANNOT be printed up like fiat paper money can be!
peopel naturally respect those who can make money online and when we have th4e OPPOSITE to fiat currency, it becomes knd fo funny. We the people end up creating something of value out of noth8ing and need no printing presses and call it bitcoin bt the governments and central banks have to print up all this paper currency that also is not backed by anthging but their system is build on greed and lies and inflation while our systems have consensus based inflation and much higher scarcity where we dont just print up money and give it to our friends, we have to either mine it proof of work like BTC LKKTC etc or we have to use Proof of Brain and acquire Upvotes from those who have the Steemnpiwer to provide them!
Oh and @anaman Im very happy to see @rocky1 and @freeyourmind hooking you up here into their Money Matrix and getting you a freakin $17 upvote even at these low low steem prices... I mean wow that would normally have been like a $80 upvote during $4-$5 steem but we will come back to that point and as you can see and as i was trying to tell others in @wafrica #wafrica that even if steem price is low and you're rewards start to go down, just try harder to get the support and impress the top SP users who can actually get you paid more than normal and you wont even notice the low steem price!
Man I wish I was getting $17 Steem posts again but I am happy to see your getting them even at this low steem price man, wow, that makes me feel like steem is really working, like i can even sit back and relax and just watch it work while i try to fund new investors to buy SP to then delegate to me to "manage" and I already know you guys in Ghana re already finding investors and business people to invest but more importantly DEVELOP on steem!
the REAL money is in Building Dapps and games and front ends for steem, charging beneficiary rewards and just having some steem flowing in through your app! I feel like we could make many of these new EOS based games but have them working on steem by stripping out the smart contracts
i really feel liek @yensesa creator @black-man also has what it takes to organize many mnany developers and also Wanna be develoeprs in training, young (or old) people who want to LEARN to become steem game developers including learning the limitations of steem and how we can get awya with gettig around them with various methods but overall we want to stay within thso ewlimitatiosn and start with some basic siomple off chain game sthat simply use steem monsters style system to keep track of in gae items with steem acounts etc and id even like to use the pocket token
i imagien we could use pocket token to really show whats possible when we build tokens intop of steem that essnetialy use your posting key as their active keys because with a simple text command in any steem comment you activate the @pocket transaction and a reply from one of the many pocket token confirmation bots comes in and actually scoops up the fee which goes to whoever is first HAh its a crazy micro economy that allows bot owners to basically race their bots for fes, no idea how big that will become but its so cool t see humans create software that then compoete
oh @inertia could we have a bot race>? and make bots that race to clean the most spam comments or race to clean or alrt peopl to the most phishing attempts or maybe we race two bots to see how many people they can fool ro we race two bid bost with the same Steempower to see which oien can raise the most Liquid Steem/SBD within one week ro a month etc, dont you think creating an economy to race Bots of all srts fould get eciting ?
