I was expecting a long-tailed peacock, base on what I see online but this one has short tails. Could be it's not matured enough to grow the long colorful tail, base on Google only the male ones grow the elongated tails...So that being said, this could be a she.
The combination of colors, especially the blue is very mesmerizing to the eyes. I spent some time looking at her up close because this is the first time I got close to a peacock. Before, they were too far away in other zoos.
We have forage legumes as well, here are a few shots of the yellow flowered plants crawling on the ground.
Lastly, let me share a few more random nature shots, flowers mostly, a mossy ground that looks like a forest top view and a man-made tiny pond.
They call this Acalypha or monkey tail, no wonder.
This mossy terrain looks like a forest from a bird's eyeview.
Maraming salamat po![Thank you very much!]
