Medellin by night

This is my entry for the daily photography contest- Tuesday: #cityscapephotography, organized by @juliank.

I really like this photograph I took a couple of years ago - it really captures something of the magic of Medellin at night.

I like the cinematic atmosphere that this photograph has, and there is something strange and surreal about it. It looks like the two cars on the street below in the bottom lefthand corner have stopped, facing each other aggressively in a standoff; echoed nicely by the word "Pare" (Spanish for Stop) next to them.
