Turtles and more

in #photography5 years ago

Today, I want to share some photos I took of turtles. These pictures were taken at La Isla, Puerto Vallarta.
I hope you enjoy them.

The most amazing eyes. Did you know turtles have such beautiful eyes?

I love the markings this turtle has.

Beautiful, isn't it?

I was shocked at how long their claws are!

Each one is so unique. I like the red stripe this one has.

Just imagine how much time this took.

Wall art that I thought was neat.

A bronze seahorse sculpture.

And finally, some bronze fish, which I decided was better suited as a black and white picture.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

As always, new pictures will be uploaded here over the coming week. Check it out if you are interested in using any of my pictures(free): https://pixabay.com/users/akiroq-2665063/

Tortugas! That sea turtle mosaic is sweet too.

Thanks. These are over at the La Isla shopping mall, over by the kid's area. There are Koi in the other pond. That plaza has a very nice movie theatre (VIP), one day of the week is a discount day..I think Wednesday (not 100% sure)(in English). Anyway, if you haven't been, the seats recline, they serve food right to your seat. You can also get discount tickets at Costco if you plan to go more than once. The beach behind La Isla is a nice place to watch the sunset. There is a path that starts at the side of the bridge on the other side of the highway. It's a nice forested path for walking (during the day)...not at night. At night there are bats, very big spiders, and snakes. I don't recommend that path at night hahaha. They are hatching eggs at the restaurant beside the back of La Isla for release soon. They have another turtle hatchery program by the airport beach between the airport and Boca de la Tomaten. It is between the airport beach and the river that divides Jalisco and Nayarit. I believe they post on Facebook when they are having releases (evenings). I have heard it is a nice activity. (I don't have Facebook so I can't give you the link.)
