Sharing some beautiful scenery.

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

Hi everyone!

These photographs have been sitting on my camera forever. I was finally inspired to upload them today and share them with you. I hope you enjoy them and that they help to brighten your day. If you are curious where these are from, this is Lo De Marcos, Nayarit, Mexico. Enjoy! I've taken these with my Canon Powershot SX60HS.

Looking north on the beach. Here you have the ocean on one side and a small lagoon on the other. This lagoon features a lot of birds and also the occasional crocodile.

The beach here is very quiet. It's tourist season and you can easily find a spot by yourself, especially on the north end of the beach. It's so serene here! The sound of those crashing waves just wash every worry away.

A picture of the lagoon. A storm was starting to roll in. I actually ended up switching to my phone to protect my camera from the rain not long after this.

Another section of the lagoon. It looks so inviting, but I am guessing it is probably not very safe.

Trees on the other side of the lagoon. I love how lush and green it is. It's usually a lot dryer at this time of year. It's a nice change. I like the rain. It makes everything come to life.

I thought this would make an interesting picture. I don't believe this was an actual tree that grew here. I think someone has dug this in here. Why? I don't know. Looks cool though.

On the other side of the lagoon again. I liked the way this grouping of palm trees looked. I wonder if someone planted them there, or if they grew there on their own.

Looking to the north again. I took another picture because I just loved the sky that day. It looked like someone had made the perfect sky, like it was somehow not real. Isn't it beautiful?

I also had to stop to take a picture of these trees. They reminded me of those trees you sometimes see in African documentaries. I'm sorry guys, I am terrible, I mean I am downright horrible with names. I can't remember what these are called. But I like how they look. Does that count? Haha.

Thank you. It was too beautiful not to share. Especially since I know a lot of my friends are enduring cold weather right now. It was my hope this might brighten their day.
