Exposing The Real Beauty OF Pakistan!!! (Part 1-Lahore)
While I was going through the comments on my posts, I received a comment “Wow! this looks EPIC!!! I never really had Pakistan on the travel map, but I wonder why!”
I started thinking that there are a lot of people out there, unaware of the beauty of Pakistan and I got this wonderful platform “Steemit” which can be used for the exposure of the beauty of my beloved Pakistan and its people to the rest of the world, who don’t know about it.
So I started thinking about it and shared my feelings with my fellows and we came up with a plan that a friend of mine has been visiting a lot of places and had captured numerous photos which depict the beauty of Pakistan and his photographic art. I talked to him and he agreed to share his collection with me for this honorable purpose.
His name is Shehroz Khan and basically, he is from Quetta. He has traveled all over the Pakistan and has captured some epic shots, which is worthy of watching and sharing. Hence, we tried to arrange that collection in a certain pattern, so that people do not lose interest while reading the post. At last, we came up with this Idea of making multiple parts in which each part covers a particular area.
So, let’s Start with Lahore City
Lahore (لاہور) is the capital city of the Punjab province and famous because it is the historic cultural center of the Punjab region. Multiple commands have ruled over it over the centuries so it’s a cultural hub. It is the 2nd most populous city in Pakistan and the 32nd most populous city in the world. It is located near the border with the Indian state of Punjab. It has a number of mosques, shrines, and tombs.
- Badshahi Mosque
It is at the top of the list of all the mosques in Lahore and a fine example of Mughal architecture. It became world's largest mosque and remained so for 313 years and still the second-largest mosque in Pakistan.
- Wazir Khan Mosque
One of the famous mosques in Lahore, named after Wazir Khan(a Mughal noble).A fine art of Mughal-era.
Minar-e-Pakistan
It is a public monument located in Iqbal Park and a symbol of sovereignty and freedom.
Lahore Fort
It is a citadel in the city of Lahore, Pakistan
Delhi Gate
It is one of the six gates of Lahore
Tomb of Jahangir
It is a mausoleum built for Jahangir (the Mughal Emperor).
- Natives at Lakshmi Chowk
