Staging a historic battle for Kołobrzeg
Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) is a city in the north of Poland, situated next to Baltic Sea.
During the Second World War, the city was a place where a bloody battle took place. The battles for Kołobrzeg lasted from 4 to 18 March 1945. At that time, over 1,200 Polish and Soviet soldiers were killed, but after two weeks of a battle soldiers of the Third Reich were defeated. To commemorate this event, in March 18, 2018 on the beach in Kołobrzeg, a historical staging took place.
In the staging took part more than 320 reconstructors, original vehicles and equipment from the Second World War.
