Slovenka Anna Opinová has won the prize for the best photo of the world in the Next Generation category

The young photographer took part in the Next Generation Award at the Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 worldwide: Single Photo managed to win first place. This is historically the first place of Slovakia in this competition with a long history.

The fact that photographers are a competing "nation" is generally known. Thanks to this, many photographic competitions with greater or lesser reputation are organized around the world. One of the largest, but also the oldest, photo contests on this planet is the Nikon Photo Contest. This challenge is for all photographers, amateurs and professionals regardless of nationality, gender or age. This year, Anna Opinion was significantly acclaimed.

"It's my first competition where I signed up. I had a photo from October 2016, which I really did in my heart and mind. Its depth, its atmosphere, its authenticity ... I just felt that this photo has something in me, which is breathtaking, "said Anna for techbox.dennikn.sk

The value of the success achieved by the Slovaks is also evidenced by the fact that 21,511 photographers from 170 countries of the world with 76,356 photographs contributed to the competition.

Anna has been taking photos for only one year, and everything she knows about photography has learned by herself. The time spent with the camera in hand during the acquisition of an engineering degree at the University of Economics has certainly paid off.

The winning photo was created during the shooting of young wives. The best picture, however, is not a portrait of a wedding bouquet with a bouquet, but her brother who smokes a cigarette, surrounded by magical smoke and wood in the background.

"This photo was created during a portrait screening of young brides and friends in Stare Ľubovni. I like this moment that arose in the cold winter. The young man on the photo is the bride of the bride (Janko Pribiš), who assisted and helped us all the time, but on such an unusual and cold day, he also received a cigar and a cigar. And that's what happened because I started to make it more than young women, "said Anna for dobrenoviny.sk

The fact that Anne managed to win the prize that many photographers have dreamed of for the rest of her life has learned through e-mail. When she saw the message, she sat quietly and had to read the incredible news a few times to trust her at all. :)
