Abow on.. Facial Spider Webbing
So.. I believe I have figured out what was making all of the spider webs I keep walking into.
Every morning when I walk out on my deck, I get a face full of web and now I know why... or should I say who! :)
Sorry the picture was not better I used zoom on my phone, I did not want to get too close and find out that this guy was a jumper! Btw, those are large lag bolts and not little screws, so he is fairly large in size.
I am however hoping that he eats the yellow jackets that have also invaded my gutters!

Looks like an orb web weaver spider, they are a beneficial insects and will eat flies and mosquitoes. What state are you in?
Thanks! I am in Ohio, so the insect eating will make it worth having him around... especially the mosquitoes. I do have bats that fly around on a nightly basis for skeeter control as well. I also have a small pond and the frogs do a good job with the insects control. They must be eating well because they grew substantially larger this year.
