My Photography - Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world, a unique symbol of love that has lasted for more than 350 years and still counting. Whenever I visit the place it makes me feel a lot about the devotion of shah jahan towards his wife.
Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal means Crown of the Palace is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
People know that Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders, people also know that its a UNESCO heritage site its much beyond that so come, Walk along the pathway beside the reflecting pool with fountains upto the mausoleum crafted in soft & pure marble and jewelled with semi precious stones, where in the serenity of paradise rests the Queen in peace with her King. Come to unfold the pages from the past to churn the charm out of its mystique and enrich your imagination about this marvel of an epic in stone, The Taj
The start of the day
The day started with a view from the river yamuna because the best and the peaceful view of Taj Mahal can be seen from here. When i was going through the net I read about the view from yamuna river so i thought of capturing it
Entrance of Taj Mahal
As these days it is visited by a lot of people so a clear view was not possible but I enjoy being in the crowd
The Taj Mahal itself
Inside of Taj Mahal
As it is prohibited to take pictures inside the taj but still managed to get one. Its a little bit blurry but for me its one of the best.
Evening view of the Taj and Yamuna
While coming back from agra saw a elephant rescue center so thought of taking the glimpse of it.

Fascinating place; I'd like to visit one day. Of all your photos, I like the first one the best even though it looks a bit unclear. The fog or smoke adds so much mystery to it. Looking at the photo, I imagine that it was probably very quiet, except for the gentle noise made by the person rowing the boat in the water. Great capture!
Ya in the early morning very few people come to visit. The peak hours are after 11:00 AM so got up early.
Thanks :)
Beautiful photos
