Is Kazan the capital of Tatarstan or the Third Capital of Russia?
As we all know, historically it happened that Russia had two official capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg, but what kind of third capital is this?
The third capital is called the city, which, according to the residents of Russia, is closest in terms of development and comfort of life to the two official capitals.
Currently, three favorite cities claim this title: Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod. Today I will try to tell in more detail about Kazan and why it is in the top three favorites.
_ The photograph shows the central mosque of the city - Kul-Sharif._
Over several visits to this city, I formed a definite opinion about the level of its development and comfort, I will try to evaluate each item on a 10-point scale and explain why I think so:
- Architecture: 7/10 - there is a strong contrast between the central streets of the city and peripheral areas. It’s worth moving out of the city center, like this:
_The photo shows the central street of the city "Bauman Street" _
It turns into the most ordinary “humane people”, and depending on the area they have varying degrees of grooming and general improvement of both the house itself and the house adjoining territory, and if you leave the center by car, literally, for ten minutes, then the landscape is completely filled with old rural houses:

Residential buildings on the way to the "Ecumenical Temple" - one of the sights of Kazan_
Transport: 6/10 - the public transport system, personally, I didn’t like very much and this is due to a) a rare interval of bus movement b) the weakness of the metro development - it goes DALECO not to all points of the city and, in comparison with St. Petersburg metro or Moscow, the Kazan metro is very poorly decorated and not very well lit.

Kremlyovskaya StationGeneral cleanliness: 9/10 - which I really liked, the city is clean, and the cleanliness of the streets is monitored both in the center and on almost any outskirts, at least not a single “spontaneous” landfill was found in the yards and back streets. For this Kazan respect!
Attractions and entertainment: 6/10 - the assessment is due to the fact that in fact, in Kazan there is not much to do. All city life is tied to the city center, all the main attractions of the city are immediately collected
The Kremlin of Kazan, in which Kul-Sharif is located
Prime Meridian
Aquapark with a huge flow of tourists that completely kills all the pleasure of visiting
And other small sights are located in the center, outside the city center we managed to visit the Temple of All Religions - a big name, but in fact, alas, it is not completed to the end and is currently in a state of "crude" repair, although it looks very much from the outside impressive:

As a result, I can say that we liked the trip to Kazan, but three days was enough to see enough of the city.
Final rating: ** 7/10 ** (based on personal feelings that were described in this post)

And to readers, THANKS, that we got here and if there are any questions, I will answer everything in the comments,
