Banyan Tree

Bayan tree Ficus benjamina and several other Ficus (genus) "species of the tribe or Moraceae)" , also called waringin or (somewhat mistaken) fig (ki ara, ki means "tree"), known as garden plants and ornamental plants. breeders have developed banyan leaves (*variegata) which are popular as indoor ornamental plants. Beringin is also often used as a bonsai object.
