This is a new daily series I'm doing where I briefly showcase a beautiful spot in nature that I've come across through my travels. I hope you enjoy it!
Pictured here is the magnificent Bullhead Lake. Located in Glacier National Park, it is one of the area's most popular hiking destinations. A very flat and enjoyable 4 mile (6.4 km) trail will lead you to this glorious mountain lake. I took this photo in early June of 2017, when winter's grip on the mountains was just starting to loosen. Having worked in Glacier for two summer seasons, I've been to this spot on many occasions. It's always an incredible place to behold! It's tough to explain, but whenever I'm in a place like this, I often feel overcome with happiness and peace. The wilderness of the Rocky Mountains is healing to me.
