Cutting through a cedar forest, this road leads to several mountain lakes, and if you follow it long enough, will take you to the top of a mountain.
The road can be accessed from Le Clerc road in Northeastern Washington north of the town of Newport and across the river from Usk, Washington. The well maintained portion of the road ends at South Skookum Lake Campground, from where you can hike and explore hundreds of acres of wilderness.
