Lake Tahoe Photo Adventure (W/ the birthday boy @scottshots)
Yep we weren't expecting it but we had LIGHTNING after our sunset on Lake Tahoe.
I was in the area photographing a wedding and then spent the week visiting @scottshots up near Lake Tahoe. We went to take pictures a few times near Truckee and only once over to Lake Tahoe itself but we certainly were spoiled when we did.
SEND A BOLT OF LIGHTING
Yep i was for sure singing the song as the lighting just went off all over the place for hours. And the best is we were always outside looking in and barely got any rain.
Followed by a great light show.
This was my other favorite lightning shot.
There was so much lightning that it seemed to double expose the clouds with all the flashes.
MORE SUNSET
This is a pretty popular part of the lake and the days were decently hot but it was midweek and still pretty early in the season so we were lucky there were very few people on the beach and out for sunset.
In fact there were just 2 other photographers taking pictures of sunset... I used them for the picture.
But beach was almost completely empty by this time.
THE SPOT
@scottshots really focused on this spot right at sunset as I wandered around. But right before actual sunset I did get a few shots.
And then came back just after sunset while there was still a nice glow
LAKE TAHOE WITH THE BIRTHDAY BOY
Ok it wasn't on the day of his actual birthday it was a couple days after so it was more his birthday week. It was awesome spending time with Scott and his family for the second year in a row. We chatted photography and tons of Steem/Steempeak related topics and had dinner with his wife and son each night and we went out to do pictures 4 seperate times... this was only one of them. @scottshots has plenty of posts over on his feed. I'm a slacker just getting to them.

That was such a fun and productive evening! It was great to have you visit again and to be able to talk steem with somebody in person. Thanks for the bday shout out, lol! I hope your next wedding shoot goes great. See you next year... haha!
Epic shots mate. I fly back to Oz today. We will just have to meet up somewhere sometime .
