Crescent Moon Spires
It is awesome to see these two red rock formations lit up so nicely. As the light begins to fade a soft crescent moon appears between the pair of spires. This photo was captured next to Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona Arizona USA.
This is beautiful! I immediately noticed the moon and it just sets the photo off so well. I didn't even notice the moon in between there at first, what a cool shot!
I guess then its like a hidden surprise and maybe a conversation piece. I think the shot still works with a weak moon.

Marvelous, I loved your explanation of the photo I had to contemplate for a moment because I didn't see the moon but I managed to see it is perfectly clear. You are very professional when taking the pictures everything is put to your advantage.
On one hand its all very simple once you have your subject then its all about the composition and lighting.
One photo is more beautiful than another. A perfect shot What is seen in the middle of the 2 needles is the moon?
Yes its a narrow early stage crescent moon. It doesn't stand out much with the light sky behind it.

Adding what you have said, to the beautiful color of the sky. This type of photos of places much attention for the reddish color that takes the rock formation. The photography is excellent.
