A Window Through Time
Deep in the canyons around Sedona the Sinagua Indians left their mark on sandstone walls a long time ago. Some of these pictographs could possibly date back as far as 600 A.D. This well preserved rock art panel is quite unusual when trying to understand the meaning of the centerpiece, showing a square within a circle like a window through time.

Hi @irvinesimages ,I think like you, look at the hieroglyphs, show an activity, but that circle shows something different, it is a gap to cross.
The activity is life itself, the passing of the days, apparently according to the activity, you can cross, very interesting.

Hi Martha, we can only glean so much from their symbolism however I have seen many drawings of which there seems to be a spiritual awareness present. The awareness of God without religion, belief without worship. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend.
Whoa.... Awesome shot of such intriguing history. Some of that stuff looks really curious to me. Also, as funny as it might be to say the square in the circle might be a UFO/ship, I actually think it might be. As weird as this is, there was story that came out not too long ago about military and some fighter pilots who witnessed a UFO, and a pilot who got somewhat close enough to see it described it as a "sphere encasing a cube"... That's what appears to be what the centerpiece shows, however, there is like some kind of line sticking out at an angle it looks like in the bottom middle of it. I wonder what that is and also what the symbols are to the top left of it? One of them looks like a star. There also appears to be one on the opposite side as well and some lines on the inside of the square.

Hey, the square is like the entrance to a tunnel because numerous lines radiate out from a center point. This one is very mysterious indeed. Like you I wish we knew more, maybe there were visitors here from abroad, call in the X-files.
