6º DAY IN MOROCCO, DESERT OF MERZOUGA.

Another day in Morocco, this time was one of the most anticipated days of the trip because we were going to go to the Sahara. We took a taxi from Tazenakht and headed south, the Merzouga desert was closest to where you can go.

Halfway we made several stops. The first stop we made was to buy some things for the desert, we bought some boats to fill with sand and a typical handkerchief from the desert to cover your head.

The next stop was at the Risani Souk where they took us to visit several stores. One of them was a kind of pharmacy that had thousands of spices. The streets of this souk had a special color, very nice the truth.

At last we reach the desert before lunch. We arrived at a hotel where we had booked. This hotel offered you a night in the desert where you slept in haimas. To go to the haimas we had to wait for the sun to go down a bit so they gave us food and a room to wait for that time.

When it was time to leave, they told us and took us to the camels. The trip was impressive, little by little we entered the desert until we lost sight of the hotel and only saw dunes and dunes.

After an hour we arrived at the haimas, at that moment it was when javi and I climbed the great dune that there was. It took about an hour to upload it but as I said in another post, it was worth it. There we could see an incredible sunset and where we met another photographer.
