Jaboticaba-Grape tree. This is not a belated April fool's joke. This tree actually have and it's not an optical illusion - the fruits grow directly from the trunk. Jabuticaba is a slow growing evergreen tree height from 5 to 12 meters. Leaves 2.5-10 cm long and 1.25 - 2 cm wide.
Trees grow slowly, but patience, time and effort invested in them are justified. The crops they yield high.
Berries Grape Tree large, dark-purple, round, up to 4 cm in diameter.
Fruits grow and ripen directly on the tree trunk and you can eat them in raw form, and in other familiar fruit and berry hypostases-in the form of juices, jams, jellies and syrups.
In Latin America, the fruits are extremely popular and are most often used for the manufacture of soft drinks. Berry tree is a nice alcoholic liquor, they are also used for making various cocktails, including alcohol.
