ŠB "Jadran"
"Jadran" ("Adriatic") is a training ship, built in Hamburg from 1931 to 1933. In July 1933 it arrived to Luka Tivat and joined the Yugoslav Royal Navy. Until the Second World War it had seven drivings outside the Adriatic Sea. During the war, he belonged to the Italian Navy and was called "Marko Polo".
After the capitulation of Italy (1943, year), the ship lay abandoned and was used as a bridge on one of the Venice canals.
At the request of the Yugoslav Government, in 1946, the ship was returned to Tivat. The repair and reconstruction of the ship lasted for five years. After that, in 1953, it was ready for sailing.
In the period from 1956 to 1957, another detailed repair and reconstruction of the ship was carried out. After the Second World War, it had five voyages outside the Adriatic Sea.
From 2013 to 2017, the last detailed reconstruction of this ship was made.
Today it owned by the navy of Montenegro.
