Every place has its own charm and the place I want to show you through these photos is no exception.
On a trip to the north of Argentina, which I did without any great expectations, I had the feeling that it was going to be one more view like so many other cities. I arrived to the capital city of the province of Jujuy and until that moment nothing made me change my feeling, until the first excursion.

The first landscapes, a few miles from the capital city, began to show me a beauty I had never imagined. The dryness of the terrain awoke in me a transcendental fascination; the ochre range in the colors of the hills that contrasted with small valleys enclosed between them, gave me the sensation of being in a world totally different from mine. The adobe houses, the typical food and the kindness of its people, made me realize a way of living totally opposite to the one I lead in my hometown.

It is difficult to describe the sensations that each landscape aroused in me. But if I had to sum them up in one word, it would be "Peace". That was the greatest feeling I brought with me. Every corner that I discovered in the north of Argentina transmitted peace to me.

In every landscape it was like a time machine that transported me to the past, because I can assure you that nothing had changed in millions of years, that every rock had been put in place long before man could settle there. At the same time, there was a sense of evolution, of conquest in the air; each small village gave the impression that everything was possible, even though it was insignificant in the face of the majesty of the Andes.
Northern Argentina is a place worthy of being known by all. I would like the images to convey at least something of what I felt when I was there.

ESP - Cada lugar tiene su propio encanto y el lugar que quiero mostrarle a través de estas fotos, no es la excepción.-
En un viaje al norte argentino, el cual hice sin mayores expectativas, tuve la sensación de que iba a ser una vista más como a tantas otras ciudades. Arribé a la ciudad capital de la provincia de Jujuy y hasta ese momento nada hacía cambiar mi sensación, ello hasta la primera excursión.-

Los primero paisajes a pocas millas de la ciudad capital, empezaron a mostrarme una belleza que jamás había imaginado. La aridez del terreno despertó en mí una fascinación trascendental; la gama ocre en los colores de los cerros que contrastaban con pequeños valles encerrados entre ellos, me daba la sensación de estar en un mundo totalmente diferente al mío. Casas de adobe, comidas típicas y la amabilidad de su gente, hicieron que me diera cuenta de una forma de vivir totalmente opuesta a la que llevo en mi ciudad natal.-

Difícil es describir las sensaciones que cada paisaje despertaba en mí. Pero si tuviera que resumirlas en una sola palabra esta sería “Paz”. Ese fue el mayor sentimiento que me traje. Cada rincón que descubrí en el norte argentino me transmitió paz.

En cada paisaje era como una máquina del tiempo que me transportaba al pasado, pues puedo asegurar que nada había cambiado en millones de años, que cada roca había sido colocada en su sitio mucho antes de que el hombre pudiera radicarse en el lugar. Al mismo tiempo, en el aire flotaba una sensación de evolución, de conquista; cada pequeño poblado daba la impronta de que todo era posible a pesar de resultar insignificante ante la majestuosidad de la Cordillera de los Andes.-

El norte argentino es un lugar digno de ser conocido por todos. Me gustaría que la imágenes puedan transmitir, al menos algo, de lo que sentí cuanto estuve allí.-
