OBI Worldphone
Obi Worldphone is a company founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley. The company was originally named Obi Mobiles when it was founded in 2014. In 2015 the firm changed its name to Obi Worldphone. The company is targeting emerging markets through its low-cost smartphones running Google's Android operating system. Obi's latest mobile launch is the Boa S503. The smartphone was launched in December 2014. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.
The Obi Boa S503 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582V/X processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Obi Boa S503 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Obi Boa S503 runs Android 4.4.2 and is powered by a 2400mAh removable battery. It measures 140.00 x 70.80 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 120.00 grams.
The Obi Boa S503 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Regular and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
