AT&T is verging on being a scam.

AT&T is either about to make me very happy, or is about to lose a customer that has made them over $10,000 in revenue over the last few years. (with the potential for $150,000+ in services over my lifetime)

They have this deal where we trade in an old phone and get $1,000 towards a new phone. We have to first file the insurance claim to get the old phone screen fixed and I pay like $50. Once that is done take it back to the store and they'll mail it in for the credit.

I'm telling you right now, if I don't get my $1,000 as agreed upon, I am leaving and never going back to AT&T. They better not be wasting my time and playing with fine print with me. I'll keep you updated of how things go. I'll be honest I'm leery... feels like a scam w/ fine print.
