Knowledge Is Power

I have been thinking lately about the amount of knowledge we have and acquire on a daily bases. Yes, if you are not informed then you are deformed. Knowledge is power etc. I guess I can talk on that over and over again, however, what baffles me is, why do we still get stocked even with all this knowledge? Is it that we forgot what to do or we fail to practice what we know? Or we are tired of the same knowledge all the time and yet we haven't come up with a better idea? Am still wondering! Please tell me if you know, I want to learn. Have a nice day.
