RE: Does science know? – 3 rational reasons why natural sciences are irrational

in #philosophy7 years ago

Well, well, well welcome to the club. Who says that we all see the color green the same way? Or imagine if we smell things differently, or maybe we do. You smell the roses, take a deep breath. It smells good is it not? What if we were designed to smell filthy thing the same way we enjoy perfume. Wow evolution is so smart!!! I just said 3 hours ago that if gravity works every day it does not mean tomorrow we can’t fly away from the earth. There is no logical reason to guarantee that we will always have gravity. But for the time being it serve my interest to have blind faith.

Welcome to which club? I think you have totally different foundations than I do. So, with club you probably might not mean your worldview. But yes, it seems to me that you agree with me that science is irrational and cannot find truth. But what about your pragmatism "it serves me to have blind faith"? Is it true that it will also serve you in the future? How do you even know it serves you? Because it feels good? Because roses smell good? How do you know?

you got I agreed with. And I like to go sleep without nightmare. I like to believe that i will wake up on earth and not on dark space . keep up the free mind work. Cheer

you got it. I agreed with. And I like to go sleep without nightmare. I like to believe that i will wake up on earth and not on dark space . keep up the free mind work. Cheer

Yes, even though I totally disagree with any natural sciences it does not mean that I have no reasons to also disagree that I would wake up in dark space tomorrow. And, even if I would wake up there, how should I even know that this is real dark space? By my senses? My first thought might be that I am still asleep dreaming.
