I did say a while ago that I would occasionally post about some more controversial areas.

There is indeed a difference between what I am willing to suffer and what I am willing to expose my daughter or wife to. I think that even though I would want her to suffer as little as possible, I think I would prefer her to suffer just enough that she recognises what is at hand and chooses compassion and understanding instead of be blind to the realities of life.
