Yeah its better to embrace reality and deal with it. That's why Camus is my favorite philosopher.

He takes nihilism and existentialism and flips the scripts.

"Wait a second, if everything is meaningless and everyone I know will die soon and all things about my life will be forgotten and there is no higher power and the universe doesn't give a fuck about me or my narrative... then that is awesome."

It means I'm free to do anything and the power and responsibility is all mine. Yes maybe that is debilitating for most, but it energizes the fuck out of me.
