Ad esempio puoi intraprendere un percorso educativo e/o spirituale, leggere libri antichi e misteriosi, sederti qualche ora a meditare e riflettere, fumare con consapevolezza dell'erba di palude o del tabacco, riunirti con persone simili a te, ballare, cantare, allenarti per diventare un templare proteggendoti dagli orchi e dai nemici, effettuare sacrifici umani[2] andare alla ricerca di antiche rovine e territori inesplorati, imparare ad utilizzare la magia[3], seguire una particolare dieta o stile di vita... e tanto altro.

Altre volte invece farai tutto l'opposto. Mangerai patatine, guarderai Netflix, rimanderai l'allenamento in palestra ma, mentre andrai a comprare una pizza surgelata per cena, incontrerai una persona inaspettata che ti farà passare una bellissima serata, ed il demone si manifesterà in un momento in cui mai te lo saresti aspettato.

The Greek word «δαίμων» (dáimōn) meant «divine being», that is, a being placed halfway between what is divine and what is human, with the function of intermediary between these two dimensions. Socrates has gone down in history, among many things, for his habit of listening to his own demon (the famous Socratic demon), i.e. an inner or moral voice that guided him, especially suggesting to him what was to be avoided in order to fulfill his mission.
