RE: People Are Fixated On Achieving Equality. Even If It Means Making Apples Act Like Oranges

Great post. I suspect you watch/listen to Freedomain radio and Stefan Molyneux and perhaps Joe Rogan show and Jordan Peterson?

The whole pay gap (non)issue and non-trans binary QQEAWQLLA square root of fifty and they way these millennials talk down to people like they are some school teacher teaching a eight year old. And they are creating this imaginary minefield where they expect you to navigate - and if you say something that is "wrong" or judgemental or discriminatory they will let you know that.

Basically the problem is governments. Human interaction, and especially things like gender and race are like very finetuned clockwork. And government tries to fix it by using a sledgehammer. That's the best tool they've got.

Humans have preferences, and we see that even though governments are trying to force people of different ethnisities togheter, they usually stick to their own preference group.

Also, don't forget that it was the US government who didn't let Rosa Parks sit in the front of the bus. Why would a bus company discriminate against their number one customer groups - namely poor people who cant afford a card - and in those days that group was (like today as well) mostly blacks.

If governments just stayed the fuck out of peoples lives, we wouldn't have a problem.

Did you see Jordan Peterson on Channel 4 news talking about gender and paygap?

That illustrated the problem very well. The woman was like hypnotized by her own cognitive dissonnance. It's quite amazing to watch. There is no pay gap. And like Stefan Molyneux argues..if female secretaries were such a great asset to a workplace, why wouldn't the CEO promote her to CFO or whatnot? If all this untapped talent were wasted, company A could just hire these woman and beat all competition. Also..if you account for the actualt REASONS for the paygap..like the fact that women get kids and stay out of the workforce longer, they also are more agreeable and therefore doesnt ask for raise as often, they also chose occupations that pay less and so on and so forth.

And that last argument is an important one, and I often get this answer; "but why can't a nurse be paid as much as an engineer?"

And the reason for that is because a job is valued on how many people are able to do that job. A CEO is hired because almost NO ONE can do that job. And he gets paid very well for that job. Anyone can flip burgers..so that is not paid well. And if you are getting paid the same amount for flipping burgers as you are studying for 5 years and the compete for a very hard job as an engineer..who would bother to become engineers? There has to be economic incentives.

But feminists and "anarchist" doesn't understand basic human condition. They don't understand reason or logic, and they don't understand their own arguments even. They are just walking contradictions.

That was a rather amusing discussion haha. To be honest, I've never listened to those shows, but I will surely check them out! As for Jordan Peterson, I have seen this guy before but never dwelled into his work. But you know, things he and I suppose those other people say are pretty obvious and logical so maybe that is why I have similar thoughts. I mean, it only takes a little of observation to understand why we live in a world like it is today. And it doesn't matter if these things Peterson said are good or bad (depends on everyone's taste and perspective I guess) because they are the reality. And we have to live in that reality. One would be stupid to expect to change the society so it is better to know the rules that society play by and learn how to thrive in it.

And another thing that bothers me a lot is the fact that people don't know how to listen anymore. That interview proves it even more. The woman couldn't keep up with Peterson and made completely false conclusions because instead of hearing the whole sentence she just used some certain fragments and interpreted them as she wanted to.

To be honest, I am against any kind of radicals. We live in a very complex world and claiming anything for granted, especially when it something debatable and uncharted, is plain stupid. I love how that woman in the interview keeps saying that all the common women traits are "vast generalization," but somehow "women get paid less than men" is not a "vast generalization" and she uses it all the time.

As for government, I think I can agree with that as well, but the government is nothing more than a bunch of people with power. So I guess doing things you discussed is the easiest way for those powerful people to control the masses would they be part of the government or any other organization.

And thanks for showing me those guys, I'll check them for sure. I just hope that they are not radicals on the other side of the fence because that is also wrong imo. But my first impression about Jordan Peterson is very positive - there are not so many people these days who can actually talk argumentatively and sound sane.

Great response.

" I love how that woman in the interview keeps saying that all the common women traits are "vast generalization," but somehow "women get paid less than men" is not a "vast generalization" and she uses it all the time.

Exactly!

Well..Stefan Molyneux has thousands of hours of rational discussion on youtube. I've been listening to him for 6-7 years now, and I suppose he is a radical in a way. He argues for free markets and libertarianism, and he is a master at conversation and rationality. It's very hard to disagree with anything he says :)

Joe Rogan show is cool because he invites a lot of people like Molyneux, blackpigeonspeaks, Jordan Peterson and even guys like Richard Spencer to his show. His show has sort of a more mainstream appeal to it, but he finds really interesting people to talk to.

I actually also even find Jared Taylor and Richard Spencer interesting. I find it hard to disagree with their reasoning.

Thanks for great suggestions! Most of the time those people are just talking rational and factual stuff so there is no reason (or chance) to disagree with them haha.
