The Game of Life

The great game of life,
living the dream...
Though not all are,
it would seem...
Many are out of sync,
detached and disconnected.
Trapped in the system,
trapped by fear,
by belief,
or lack of belief
in the self.
We are all taught the world
is a scary place
but there is also good
for every bad story
there are many unreported.
We are drip fed fear,
not love.
Fear divides,
love brings us together.
The system is designed
to keep people afraid,
keep people paranoid
and fearful of fellow man.
When we are together,
when we share understanding,
when we connect at a human level,
and at a spiritual level,
we are strong.
When we understand ourselves
and each other as one,
empathy and love replace fear
and they can no longer
control us with it.
Sometimes it takes hardship
to bring people together
but when we connect,
raise our consciousness together,
we will evolve beyond
what anyone can imagine.
