Brain waves and the Schuman Resonance
The human brain is known to have five states of brain activity
I will add that the downside of Beta & Gamma waves are that they can contribute to anxiety.
The Schuman Resonance
The earth’s magnetic energy, heartbeat is known as the Schuman resonance. The Schuman resonance surrounds both ourselves and the earth. It extends to 30 miles in height and to the very edge of the ionosphere. The human body (especially the brain) and every organism harmonises in perfect synchronicity with the Schuman resonance. It regulates our brain waves, metabolic processes and the sense of direction in humans, animals and birds.
The human brain communicates with this magnetic field through the brains naturally occurring magnetite crystals. Every brain contains 5 million magnetite crystals per gram of brain mass. These crystals resonate perfectly with the magnetic field that surrounds us. Indeed disruption within the geo-magnetic field (much like the lunar cycle) has a direct influence upon psychology and metabolism. This can be shown within birth rates, accidents, death and spikes in violence. Even the Federal Reserve (Boo Hiss) have concluded that trade on the stock market is directly influenced by these bio-rhythms. When the first astronauts started to return with depression (and in some cases psychosis) a study concluded this was due to a disconnection to the Schuman resonance. This was rectified by installing resonance generators in each spacecraft.
Depression, mental health, insanity and false cycles
In terms of depression it has never been scientifically proven that this condition is caused by a chemical imbalance. Indeed if depression is a chemical imbalance then why is it unknown amongst indigenous communities? At least until they are assimilated into western society then often go on to become not only depressed, mentally ill but also drug addicts, alcoholics and prostitutes (more on this later).
This has all been conveniently glossed over by the pharmaceutical industry. Purely because they want to sell you drugs to correct this unsubstantiated imbalance. Indeed the greater our disconnection becomes the more drugs they will be able to sell. These drugs may mask your symptoms but they are often at the detriment of other aspects of health, including mental health. They are little more than a band aid and will never cure those that take them, the best they do is stabilise you for varying periods of time.
The creation Of False Cycles
In case anyone has yet to guess I believe depression, mental illness and many of the problems facing humanity derive from an increasing disconnection to the Schuman resonance the natural cycles of life and indeed natural law. Based upon the cyclical nature of reality I theorise that the disconnection to natural cycles leads us to create our own cycles. The tighter the psychological manifestations of these false cycles become the deeper the depression. Indeed that is why those with bi-polar disorder are often referred to as having “a cycle of depression”, addiction is another example of a false cycle. The tightest cycles are when people become trapped in psychosis and madness, a prisoner within their own mind.
The ones that become left behind
So within a mess of a society that works for some at the detriment of others, the people that profoundly feel this disconnection are often the kindest and gentlest souls. In turn they become the most dysfunctional, often turning to heavy drink, drug use and promiscuity (refer to my indigenous communities statement) as a way to try and fill the void they instinctively feel. Within this process (there are always exceptions to these rules) those with a harder edge and perhaps less compassion often rise to the top of a dog eat dog society. They define themselves with money and status but use their drive and intellect to fuel a system that (if it continues in this current trajectory) will one day kill us all, clever eh?
The very nature of our banking systems, corporatism, and consumer culture are ensuring that we are becoming a cancer to the earth. But then if the worst attributes of humanity are required to keep this capitalistic world economically spinning then what can we expect? We have been trained to define ourselves and success by the number of zero’s in our bank balances (as long as it’s not one zero :D ). To define our happiness by buying crap we can’t afford, whilst the virtues of greed and narcissism are being signalled all around us on a daily basis, this is the age of the ego.
Rediscovering Our Connection
I often think that if cancer was a sentient being how clever it would feel as it outwitted it’s host. How it would smugly laugh as it spread from one organ to the next, little realising the very nature of it’s success would in turn sow the seeds of it’s death. I'm not saying we all need to back to living in caves but we do need to re-discover our connection to natural law and we do need to find a balance both within ourselves and the world around us. Many of the most successful communities in the world are based upon respect for each other and the earth, and I believe the two go hand in hand. Indeed how can we respect the earth without respect for ourselves and our fellow man/woman?
We are the embodiment of both natural law and the polarities that pervade our every atom. We and the world we inhabit are a living monument of every decision we make and every choice we take. Our lives and these moments in time are our chance to elevate both ourselves and others to live a life worth living and be the change we want to happen.
That is why I write these words so thanks for taking the time to read them.
If you feel my words worthy of an upvote or resteem that will be humbly appreciated.
“We live, we die, and like the grass and trees, renew ourselves from the soft clods of the grave. Stones crumble and decay, faiths grow old and they are forgotten but new beliefs are born. The faith of the villages is dust now…but it will grow again….like the trees.
May serenity circle on silent wings and catch the whisper of the winds.”

I am so glad I found this post because it gave me assurance that I am not crazy and re-affirmed the reason why I went vegan. So thank you for that! I am definitely following you, keep the great content up! 😃
@dannyroque Thanks for taking the time to read and share your kind comment, it's much appreciated. You're definitely not crazy, I believe that there is a wisdom that wants to speak to us, we just need to find a way of listening. Again thanks for the comment.
Of course, agree 😃
I feel the same way. I feel completely alone in my thoughts and that I'm insane. I can't even socialize like I used to because I'm awake to all the BS that's happening
@landyachtzgirl Hey don't worry you're not alone, lots of people are feeling like you. It's perfectly normal to feel isolated when you understand the world is nothing like you've been told, don't worry these thoughts will pass. These are a few words that didn't make the final cut (I may add them for the second part) "you're not insane, it's the world that's insane and you're being driven mad trying to make sense of it" . Try to let your thoughts go, find a way to quiet your mind and let the river of life carry you along for a bit.
It all just feels so wrong. And I'm ANGRY. I'm angry that our given right to have a happy and free life has been taken from us. I live in a county where it is ILLEGAL to collect rainwater to filter and drink. How can you make nature illegal? They do whatever they can to keep us trapped in the grid, running around in this hamster wheel to collect money that doesn't even have a gold standard anymore. I'm a cashier at Whole Foods and my entire shift all I can think about is how badly I want to blow my brains out because life just feels so meaningless. I have discovered that I'm nothing but a wage slave. But the most depressing aspect is that everyone around me is also a wage slave, but no one seems to notice, let alone listen when you try to inform them of their own slavery. I genuinely feel like Winston from 1984. I have this burning passion in me to get a group of us like minded people together to actually DO something about this. I don't even care if I'm murdered by them at this point. I would rather stand up and try to wake people up than to just let the elite roll over us. I swear to god I will take one of them down with me
Hi @perceptualflaws - such an interesting subject! This post was quite hard for me to read (you did a good job in breaking it up, but for my taste it could have been even more paragraphs and headlines ;)
I agree with you that we disconnect from nature more and more. I'm a big Bruce Lipton fan, too!
I believe however also that nature nudges us back to our nature more and more, by that I mean that many of us are becoming more and more sensitive to tiny shifts in energy - be it "electromagnetic storms" or whatever. Which makes us more conscious of these things and prompts us to live more in line with natural laws or energies.
Just knowing about all of this helps already. I recently learned that our energy is focused most outwardly around June 21 (productivity). And most inwardly on December 21 (creativity).
Knowing about these things helps us plan our businesses and lives better, and also helps us realize that e.g. traveling from hemisphere to hemisphere to "follow the Summer " and spend the whole year in the warmth, as some people do, might not actually do us any good, but lead to burn-out instead.
And haven't the Schumann resonances really spiked up in recent years - or is that a myth?
@connecteconomy Thanks for your advice my friend, it's greatly appreciated. I have broken it up a little bit more as you're right it's a fair bit of information to absorb in one hit. I just get into the flow and away I go .. now I'm rhyming as well :D .. as to the rest of your comment, I'm just on my way out for a few hours and as you've taken the time to make some excellent points I want to give them the respect they deserve and answer you in a non rushed fashion. I'll be back.
Or make a new post of it, I'll follow :) Especially if you make it rhyme LOL!
@connecteconomy Thanks lol .. I am actually planning a second part relating to intent so I agree and will save my thoughts until then. Although I just have to quickly speak to your excellent observation regarding nature nudging back to nature "many of us are becoming more and more sensitive to tiny shifts in energy" I completely agree and feel that this has happened many times throughout human history. If we find a way to listen there is a truth within these energetic vibrations. It's just with the disconnected fast paced stress inducing reality of modern society, wi-fi, smart technology etc it's becoming increasingly difficult for many to be nudged and reconnect. Those that have found the time to research or a way to connect are feeling a compulsion to share these ideas for others to at least spend some time pondering, perhaps it's possible that nature is asking for a helping hand. Lol I like rhymes, here's a little one a made earlier lol: https://steemit.com/poetry/@perceptualflaws/society-an-original-poem
What a Great article! I'm so happy you wrote this <3 <3 I have to share this in my other networks!
Thanks for your kind words @lyndsaybowes I'm really glad you were able to take something from it. Thanks for reading.
I would love to be a part of a traditional/natural society. I hope by the steps our family is taking we can begin the transition back to those ways. And certainly our calendars need to change back to being in line with the moon cycles too.
@lyndsaybowes I can hear something calling back to the natural cycle, with each passing year the voice gets louder. It would be so nice to cut the chains from all the crap that holds us back.
Yes, and so sad, yet true, that things are going to have to get a LOT worse in the so-called 'developed' world before the majority see there is a dysfunction with the way we are living. A lot of folks are going to have to get uncomfortable before they seek change :(
Oh FUCK YEAH PF!!! God you are so eloquent and smooth...this is actually the first Steem post I've ever bookmarked to come back and read it when I'm less drunk =)
Oh dear. Even drunky kitty can tell it's beautiful! Maybe I can dig up some more whalefood over at bitshares, been burning that stuff pretty hot lately :P
Hey, when you have a moment, would you mind saying hi to my friend Lily? She just made her first post, and a she is an incredible beautiful intelligent Appalachian mama lady, and I really want her to meet some of my favorite people on Steem, so that she doesn't think we're all just a bunch of bots :P THANKYOU PF!!!!!
@itchykitten Thanks a million for your kind comments my friend, it's greatly appreciated and I'm humbled you've deemed it worthy of a sober read. Really appreciate the upvote and randomwhale. And for sure, I'm working at the moment but will look forward to popping over and saying hi to Lily as soon as soon as I get a chance. Thanks again, your support is amazing!!
Thankyou! I'm really happy Lily got welcomes from so many good people
The parallels to humanity here are unsettling...a man I have immense respect for, was once talking about the modern mentality of "getting away with something!". Like oh yeah, aren't we clever?? Look what we were able to get away with! He says it's like tiptoing your way straight to hell...OOO00h yeah, look I DID IT!!! I got away with it!!!
but you're still in hell
I'm not much for believing in hell in the literal sense, but Anastasia (of the ringing cedars) talks about how hell is actually when your true self or soul sheds the trappings of your earthly consciousness and when YOU realize how you've affected the world, that the HELL is not something someone subjects you to, but rather something that YOU subject you to, the pain of seeing things from a bigger perspective.
I always appreciated that thought. Rather then thinking, what will the powers that be think of my actions, then you must ask...what will I think of my actions?
AHHHH!!!!! it's sooooo true PF!!! Calendars, and perhaps writing itself have drastically changed our perceptions in DEEP ways, that we may not even understand. There's a completely fabulous book called The Spell of the Sensuous, that just completely blew my mind left, right and sideways as a young adult. The effect that our 'tools of the mind' have had on us are absolutely insane!! I think it's trickier too because we have a strong pre-disposition to seeing past human cultures from inside of the framework of how we view people now.
I think we grossly under-appreciate the vast possible differences in people's basic perceptions, in the past, and right here in today
I love your thoughts here PF, they are resonating with me very strongly =) Is it little wonder that spending a day walking in the woods can bring one back to life? The depression as a systemic symptomatic disease is far too real. And it does seem to be tied into many aspects of our culture.
Have you read any Charles Eisenstein or Martin Prechtel? Two authors that have have offered me a bit hope about all this.
Thankyou for this Perceptual, it's such an important thing to be discussing. I also appreciate what Eisenstein says about finally leaving behind our 'old story' for a new one..in that the beautiful radiance of a new story's possibility may of itself be terrifying.
@itchykitten Completely agree my friend, getting away with something is akin to simply kicking the can down the road and I've come to learn there is a price to be paid for all our actions.
" I'm not much for believing in hell in the literal sense, but Anastasia (of the ringing cedars) talks about how hell is actually when your true self or soul sheds the trappings of your earthly consciousness and when YOU realize how you've affected the world, that the HELL is not something someone subjects you to, but rather something that YOU subject you to, the pain of seeing things from a bigger perspective."
I'm with you here @itchykitten in death perhaps we exchange perception for infinite awareness and understand (even feel) how our thoughts, words and actions have resonated within everyone we've ever met. This could be an uplifting, defining moment of glory but equally it could be a self imposed Dante's inferno .. the choice is ours. I think age itself brings about a greater responsibilty indeed awareness of how our actions effect those around us and in turn gives an opportunity to be forgiven (or forgive ourselves) for the impetuousness and bravado of youth.
"AHHHH!!!!! it's sooooo true PF!!! Calendars, and perhaps writing itself have drastically changed our perceptions in DEEP ways, that we may not even understand."
When I wrote these words I could feel the veritas of this statement within ever fibre of my body so I'm really glad it also stood out to you. We have thrown ourselves out of this natural order and in turn out of balance. I love your observation/addition of words into this subject for that's so true! I have often felt we lack the words to explain the true nature of reality and as such wallow in rudimentary perceptions directly relating to the historical misappropriation of words and understanding. It's one thing to be told something and another to feel it and to understand it within the moment.
I feel as with the nature of all life and reality there are two eternal polarities pushing us in opposing directions. One is leading us to the path of reconnection/connection and the other to a complete divergence and disconnection. In terms of the latter I fear some of these decisions are being made without our knowledge and acceptance, but I'll expand upon that in part 2.
Great quote and thanks for the book recommendations, I'll be sure to look into those. Recently I've been reading old texts, ancient knowledge and observing how they relate to the modern fringe science theories of quantum mechanics. But that's just me :D
I often think about cancer as rogue cells who have lost trust that the consciousness driving the organism is going to give them what they need... so they start taking what they need from the other cells around them.

The concept of linear time is a relatively new thought process. I believe the very nature of reality, matter and life work within a series of interlocking cycles, indeed our very bodies are an embodiment of these universal laws. If the natural order of the earth indeed universe works within a cyclical construct, why should time be any different?
Just posted that on another thread about alternate perspective on time/light.
WHOAH! mindblown
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment my friend. There is a truth regarding the nature of reality and time .. and if you find a way to listen these ideas become veritas. Maybe many are now finding a way to listen and relaying similar ideas and concepts at the same time .. the old world/thoughts and perceptions are crumbling away .. we live in exciting times. Are you strapped in? it's going to be a bumpy ride :)
Been strapped in since inception, and it's been a helluva ride. <3
Exciting to be part of the wave!!!
Same here my friend .. a wave in the sea of infinity :)
So many possibilities, which one will you grasp and strive for?
Now that's a question! I could write another post on that alone, so I'm simply going to say an inner and outer equilibrium. How about yourself?
Need to keep balance,
The ying and the yang, the inner and the outer,
Be the change you want to be in the world,
And go forth and inspire and create!
Spread the network.
all of the above.
Yes ying/yang. balance and equilibrium are ideals we all must strive for. Every thought and every idea all feed into the collective pool of human consciousness and as such none are wasted. As long as our intentions are good and we stay true to ourselves our voices will be heard by those that are ready to hear them
that was quite a read bro I really enjoyed it, I had to take some time to get through it all,
those imaginal cell are really something, thank you for adding that to my vocabulary, I love that thought
your mention i think "higher times" that sounds good but i couldnt find anything on it can you link me you got anything?
Hey @sols thanks for taking the time to read it bro and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm a bookworm and have read many Vedic teachings/Sanskrit Tibetan book of the dead etc etc so this is where some of this knowledge comes from, some of this stuff is fairly well hidden on the net but I had a little look for you and this explains the concept of higher time: http://www.lawoftime.org/thirteenmoon.html ... The false cycles are some of my own thoughts, well at least I haven't researched anyone else looking into it.
Great post. Modernity can be compared to cancer. Unlimited growth is not good, sometimes a long hike with nothing man made in sight is a great, although temporary solution. Following, i like finding like minded people on here. Steemit is the best!
Unlimited growth in a world of finite resources can only end one way. Thanks for taking the time to comment my friend and likewise, enjoyed your post and perspective .. followed.
Nice post incridible
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment my friend, it's much appreciated. Hope you're having a good start to the week.
