Objective detachment needs to be learned and employed so that people get over their attachment to themselves and be able to face and recognize the truth objectively.
This is the big thing for me here. Being able to distance myself from things and look at them as objectively as possible has been one of the most useful skills I have ever learned.
Yup. Learning to let go ;)
Not even that, but yes, that is another useful skill to have.
