There is actually an answer. Judging by the dates and the location of the tomb there was a war. This wonderful woman was in Korea during Japanese colonial period. She died in Korea at 48 years old. She was buried at the foreigner's cemetery by the riverside. I wonder about her and what she wanted from life. Still I'm not sure why they shot her grave.
It makes sense that a stray bullet from the war may have been the culprit.
