Thought of the day #1 - Balance, how to find it!

Everything in the universe is continuously trying to balance itself out. From inanimate life, to vegetative, to animal form and finally to human beings. We can even go back to the origin of our Universe, The Big Bang, the event from where scientists say the material Universe originated . From that point forward all action in the Universe is a kind of equalization until it reaches a motionless state, a state of balance.

On earth we can see this law on all levels of life. In the inanimate level we see a movement of force from wind and water currents, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, continuously seeking a balanced state.

We can also find the same patterns in the vegetative level. Plants absorb different elements, from outside themselves, from nutrients to sun light. They convert light energy into chemical energy through a process called photosynthesis and so they are in a constant exchange with the environment. In the animal level, balance is searched through movement of the animals to areas where there are appropriate external factors for their survival such as food, water, adequate weather and so on.
On the human level everything that is going on in our lives is supposed to balance ourselves out spiritually or/and physically. The people we meet, the events and experiences we go through should be observed by individual, instead of unconsciously react to it. The reason we should consciously observe each occurrence, instead of blindly reacting to it, is because in this way we find balance. We understand why certain things happen, and how to fix it in order break the karmic cycles if you will, because there is a lesson to be learned in each event that we encounter. By doing this the human being finds homeostasis and achieves balance, each of us in a different way according to each others needs. Balance in people's life equals to peace, joy, bliss and harmony, which is the main desire behind our everyday actions.
