Language - South Africa has 11 official languages - I can only speak 2 fluently, and know a few words and phrases in another. I sometimes edit theses for university students - and I often get the urge to edit posts here ... but this is a free platform with few rules and diverse contributors (English still the most widely accepted medium though).
Words - indeed powerful and influential, can be empowering or destructive - choose them wisely.
