Am Not Sober: Are You Sober? Is Your Neighbor Sober? Can You Define Sobriety?

Being sober is one thing I do not understand. It has nothing to do with drinking.

Yes!

There are so many people out there who have not touched any alcohol but are not sober. Their behavior does not show anything like sobriety.

How come?

Sound mind has so many factors to consider. Doing right is some of them. I might not know the definition of right but there are things that one can do and you prove it to be wrong. Doing wrong shows you are not sober.

Playing games with another persons spouse does not describe sobriety. It is like playing with fire. I come to think of it, you are drunken with love that your mind does not function right. Being caught may bring sobriety into you.

Rapists and child molesters are not sober. They need medical attention. Worse are those who do their sexual activities with chicken. Even cocks do not penetrate hens as such. They are not sober.

Have you ever considered robbers, thieves and drug pushers to be sober? No, they are not. They are first intoxicated before they turn their quest on those activities.

Consider all the drivers on our roads as not being sober. There are those who drive on the wrong side of the road. Some jump traffic lights. Some motorists are in such a mad hurry. Maybe they are hurrying to their death. They are not sober.

Now who is sober? Are you sober? Is your neighbor sober? Or we are all intoxicated? We are drunk with activities round us. Our jobs and families are stressing us. Circumstances play a trick on us too. Money madness is snatching sobriety from our lives. We are D.R.U.N.K.
