RE: The Mysticism between Sense and Nonsense in Discordianism

in #philosophy8 years ago

I discovered Discordianism years ago through the work of Robert Anton Wilson. I really need to actually get this book, as this stuff really resonates with me.

Reality just can't be pinned down. It seems best to be able to be able to deal with the multiple grids and reality tunnels that people have if you want to get a sense of the big T.

I wanted to say "absolutely" to your comment, but I'll say "relatively" to stay true and false to my paradoxicality!

That seems awesome to me! I like the idea of E-Prime. Or I should say it seems to me I like the idea of E-Prime.

It's good to know there are others here on Steemit into this stuff.

I experience E-prime as awesome!

Oh, DO you? Whoever I am seemingly only seems to experience this rumored E-Prime as awesome. You must be lucky to actually HAVE the experience!

I feel like I might be looking for more of your posts in the future.

"Being" seems an overrated concept from Indo-European languages. But "experience" i.e. "sense" transcend the non-sense of "being".

Right. The be verb is overrated. Shit! I just used it. Oh well.

Yeah, it seems we can never really say something is something. We can only say something is close enough to something for our intended purpose.

I.e., there seem to be no truly straight lines or perfectly round circles. Tables seem good for putting food on, but some might also be used as chairs or something else. Is it really a dog or is it a representative of a continuously evolving species that started out totally different and will end up the same?

Hilarious!

Yes, it's seriously funny isn't it? But the ridiculousness of the universe is no joking matter. It's a matter of joking.
