Life is a game
When you spend difficult moments in your life, you think that nothing makes sense, you think you have the worst luck in the universe and for some reason the cosmos conspired to go against you. However, it is only when you come out of that emotional state that you realize that hard times precede an equally intense learning process. That's why I realized that life is a game, sometimes you lose and sometimes you win; it's a game with rules and that requires creativity and concentration, but in the end those rules can also be hacked. Today I'll talk to you about how to see life as a game.
Catharsis
Among the ancient Greeks, catharsis was an activity for the purification of passions of the spirit through emotions that provokes the contemplation of a tragic situation. This means that in times of layoffs, tragedies, or even depressing stability, performing activities totally different from what we are accustomed to generated a certain emotional liberation. These types of activities were usually artistic or ritual activities that emphasized emotional expression.
In our time the catharsis serves a lot too. It allows us to see our lives from different perspectives.
Activities that enter as catharsis cannot be framed with a strict sense, but anything that is different from routine and expressive will help to provoke a good catharsis.
The catharsis from my point of view is the main one of the implicit rules within the game of life, because when we start to play, there will be times when we want to desert and even do it, or there will be times when we can't see any way to win the game, but when catharsing we will probably see the way again.
The rules
Every game contains implicit and explicit rules. If we don't know the rules of the game, we won't be able to play in a proper way, that's why it is important to learn exact sciences and social sciences. In life those are the rules that govern it, the exact and social science, so the more we know about these areas of knowledge the more likely we are to win games.
Now, this does not mean that we become megalomaniac fans who take refuge in the rules to carry out any activity, we must be aware that also breaking the rules can be a solution to get creativity. And beware! that breaking the rules is not confused with acting unethical. Ethics govern any healthy game.
The team
Every game is better with family and people. Life is also a game that is played as a team. Sometimes it is necessary to take time for oneself, but it is intrinsic and necessary to know how to act as a team, to enjoy and to know how to move as one even when we are several.
Leadership has its role here. A team without a leader is a team that has little chance of winning, and a team with several leaders will have the best chance of winning.
In the game of life, knowing how to work as a team and being a good leader is essential for victory.
The fun
This part is very important for those who are fond of the rules.
A game would make no sense if it wasn't fun and sometimes we focus a lot on the ambition to win that we forget to enjoy without thinking so much about the results. Although it sounds paradoxical, there are times when not thinking too much about the results and acting a little impulsive can lead to victory, because in this process we use our unconscious and intuition, which are very complex thought forms and appropriate for social interactions.
It is vitally important to understand and deepen that life and any activity is a fun game. Ethics will always be a constant, as mentioned before, but don't forget to have fun and be spontaneous too.
