A Pataphor About the Plausibly Objective Basis of True-Truth

No doubt you’ve seen this trichotomy of truth meme in your research on the ontological nature of reality. This meme for me represents my Path of Least Effort inclinations that only minimally edited this meme for Datalogical consideration because it is not perfect but it can communicate some necessary points for me. The tendency I’ve found of people from all walks of life these days is to look at this concept of truth from an already noisy and confused platform such as any perspective or belief system seems to offer. Ideologies are complex bundles of half formed ideas predicated on unexamined assumptions and it makes the term chaos seem at least metaphorically accurate for subjective struggles with information overload. We are simply ill equipped to navigate the Metaphysical terrain without error on some feature of or about Reality. While it’s true that all perspectives are limited, a concept known as the #Phaneron goes into this idea in detail, it is not true that reality is without an objective basis, nor is it one, subject-to the whims of subjectivities. I’m referring specifically to moral relativism in its “to each their own” or “live and let live” mentalities. Jordan Peterson might refer to this as Post-Modernism and subsequently use that same frame of reference to dismantle itself. I can understand the intention and sentiment of ideologies and statements like these on a surface level and even have witnessed their utility as far as platitudes can serve minds unaware of the emotional manipulation that these phrases can have on our brains. But rather than decry all the reasons why moral relativism is invalid as an ethical proposition, I’d rather get to the point of this meme we have before us here. 

Until the advent of #Omniphysics and the authoring of DMTheory there were mostly well intentioned people/groups seeking to validate and write down the reasons why being a good human is a good moral philosophy. Seems fair enough. We obviously have all of the religious and spiritual works of human history. Most of them are primitive but nonetheless sophisticated models that were seeking to symbolize the features of the environment in a way that fostered group survival and cohesion. There is the vast arena of philosophy with interesting works from people like Kant and his Categorical Imperative, which is a really technical breakdown on why the golden rule is still basically the ultimate platitude in human history that still serves us in some manner today. There is also a modern day philosophy that follows this form by writing a book called Universally Preferable Behavior which outlines a fairly convincing argument for secular ethics that are as universal as he could argue. It’s enough to start the convo and have a bit of structure in doing so.

But what all these books and ideas miss is hopefully going to be conveyed by one metaphor that actually is a good example of a #pataphor. A pataphor is defined as: an extended metaphor. 

Imagine you’re able to teleport from earth to the astroid belt technologically. When you arrive at one of the asteroids you notice a lil flag with a symbol on each of the asteroids. There are people from the past to present that live on these many similar orbiting rocks in outer space. You notice all of your favorite thinkers or characters and the ideological symbols that adorn their flags are patched across like a quilt. In my case I’d spot Nietzsche with his lofty vantage point looking inward towards the Sun. Across the way and at what seems like the lowest asteroid possible you’ll see Gandhi sitting crosslegged and self assured. Nearby you spot a Jesus, a Buddha, and an Einstein at equally distributed distances from each other.  Almost everyone you encounter has their hands over their eyes the way people visor their brow in the summer. All these asteroids are facing inward at the bright object at the center of the solar system that we call the Sun.

For what its worth you notice there isn’t much difference in the clarity that can be squinted-at enough to give any more data to what the bright object at the center is. In spite of knowing its a ball of matter and energy there isn’t much more you can squeeze out of it than; this is the same view anyone else in this asteroid belt can have so its a matter of perspective and everyone is right/true/correct from their own POV. Its a relatively peaceful disposition to find yourself wearing for a moment. Life would be so fair if everyone just happened to know how to grant each other the right to their own universal perspective because its not any better or worse than any other POV. If only we could extend this feeling in the times we find ourselves in self loathing or bitter scorn for others. Its represented in a word like Namaste which I take to mean the Divine in me recognizes the Divine in you. But if we are to put it a bit more Neutrally, the Blank in me recognizes the Blank in you.

But I digress, so then you notice someone you’ve never heard of or seen waving you over. He has this excitement that just seems too curious to ignore so you teleport to his rock and ask him, “whats up?” He says, “I know this seems unbelievable, but have a look at this.” You turn around to face the direction he’s pointing in to see its just the same ol’ Sun that everyone else can see. He corrects you, “No, not from there. Stand right here and look from directly where I’m pointing from.” Incredulously, you give in to the skeptical-curiosity to have a look from exactly the spot he indicated. {DMTheory as a document} Lo and behold... there is a gravitational lensing effect that gives anyone standing from that exact point, the ability to see the Sun like its an eclipse in totality but with full view of all the layers of existence that entangle this pataphor…story…thinga whatever this is?

This pataphysical exercise is my way of vouching for a colleagues hard work and for the fact that something like this happened in my mind that allowed me to create what pataphysicians and astronomers call a #syzygy. An alignment of 3 or more celestial bodies/ideas/memes etc. Its an open-ended way at “concluding” or sketching a conceptual example of at least these 3 things by name: pataphors, syzygy, and Matt Acutt is a legit human being! You should read his paper!

Entertain the idea that aside from knowing that you exist, that you can also logically conclude, that reality is eternal. Now that an axiom like that can be meme’d across the internet due to its logical underpinnings, the seeds of change to change human minds, has hereby been sown. 

The reason morality historically is so tied to religion is because belief alone was the only game in town when humanity was still forming its self awareness of the vast subconscious and the cosmic unknown. God was the only concept that afforded a way to explain why you ought to be good because of the monkey logic of violence/punishment thats so deeply embedded in our biology. If reality has no beginning or end, and if that is logically arrived at as an output of just thinking about objects-of-thought correctly, then there is no other mechanism required for the information of existence to simply be the data it is and always has been. Forever perfect and unchanged just patiently waiting for your wits to grow sharp enough to notice.

The reason this is so significant IMHO, is because reality can finally be agreed upon without invoking belief or a deity. It examines all of the unexamined assumptions we’ve quietly swept under the rug as a species for centuries. Realistically I imagine this idea needed a medium such as the internet provides because it is predicated on a visceral understanding of the fundamental nature of information itself. Keep in mind that this doesn’t necessarily rule out some form of Entelechy that may exist in such a deterministic and enlightened state that it simply found a quiet multiversal cul de sac to chill in for the rest of eternity because we are still so freaking fracking far away from teleportation devices that it can not be bothered by anything while it meditates or something fancier than meditation? Forgive me because I believe that if #Tesla was simply able to be supported by a society of awakened minds, that we would have had that teleportation shit back in the 90’s if some things had been ever so slightly different... And yet still, the nature of god is still an agnostic possibility its just the ever receding pocket of scientific ignorance in which a god hides in until science and technology can approximate deeper into the information of Reality.

Alas there is also the idea that once we can define truth to a computer program or AI, the logic that commands the rules of the objectives for the computer is to run simulations on human centered individual and collective concepts of morality. This so called Ethics Algorithm for Survival, would be one of the main veins of data flow that informs other branches of science and philosophy that seek some form of symbiotic equilibrium. There could be a fun survey that asks the population of earth in their own native tongue: "Let every man {woman and child of awareness} make known what kind of government would command his/her respect, and that will be one step toward obtaining it."—Thoreau. 

So my vote would be for an: "Open-Sourced, Cybernated Minocracy, Meritocratically directed towards a Sacred Economic, Natural Law RBE. Aside from that I see Tribes of people unified by their own Neutral Data Common Ground “mesh network” style communities of Permaculturally inclined Technological Panarchism. All people would basically be as they are today but with a goal in the heart of humanity that seeks to preserve the Earth and take a step into Cosmic Awareness. Maybe it can be named something simple like: OmniCulture, Hybrid or Fusion Society, as long as the dominant Philosophy is: commitment to the non-aggression principle in unison with that trusty golden rule. To behave in ways you would not mind as behavior directed back at you.

Regardless of fantasies like those I want to implore you to find the time to read this document and help us get some more minds involved in co-creating an objective basis for a code of ethics that humans no longer enslaved by fictions can embody, rather than write down. To let our life be our message and stand on the universal moral high ground which seems contradictory at first until the antinomy accumulates from holding multiple dichotomies in common view, long enough to find some unity in their opposition. It is my contention that we can communicate our way through this enterprise of reality-decoding enough to get our acts together to spark creative projects that may ultimately lead to passion for living even MORE fully in the present moment of the Deep Now!

TL;DR

As it turns out #datalogic is the way one can objectify, objectivity-itself. 

As such, the necessity for a #NeutralDataPoint to start the dialogue is becoming abundantly clear. Next time let’s have a look at what this might mean?
