Day 4 of 30 Days, 30 Posts - Past

We associate the past with our foundations, our beginnings, or our origins. Interestingly, we also often refer to the present, or the dawning of a new day, as a fresh start or new beginning. What this reveals is that there really is no distinction or discontinuity between the past and the present, and also the future.

This continuous flow means that future things to come or coming attractions are just as real and valid as those currently in manifestation. And the situations we find ourselves in now are really just the recycled (transformed) energies of the past. Perhaps things had to be the way they were in the past to allow for the manifestation of the way things are now. As we experience the transformations of energy, we observe changes in our body, environment, and interactions with others. These transformations are triggered internally, and we will notice that our perceptions of what is transforms in tandem with our external picture.

Our current state emerged out of a former state. A future state will emerge from our current state. If both the past and the present can represent the origins or the beginnings, then the same applies to the future. This means that our concept of beginning, middle, and end are really an illusion as well. Cells are constantly dying and being replaced in each moment. The old gets shed for the newly regenerated to emerge. When we entirely discard our current form, it should come as no surprise that we'll reemerge with a new one. This is true when we recall that the origin, the beginning, the Source, is always NOW.

Each stage of growth is necessary in order to unlock the next level, but all are ultimately predetermined. For example: A fertilized human embryo will unfold to become a human. The ovum and the spermatozoa preexisted in the parents, and their fusion gave rise to a paradox. This new creature is entirely unique but also a synthetic copy. Due to its genetic inheritance, it should follow along a predictable line of growth barring any mutations or complications. Like the ovum and egg, however, the indwelling essence preexisted and caused its physical emergence. Any deviation from the norm originates (origin-8s) within.

The past symbolizes former states of consciousness, or the Self experiencing itself through creation at various rates of vibration. What we perceive to be the past is the Self at a lower frequency. The past might represent our descent into this incarnation—or a lowering in frequency which allowed the boundless to restrict itself in matter. The future, then, might represent the return into boundlessness where the form is discarded until "the next" creative impulse.

As a child, our worldly knowledge is much more limited than it is at later stages. The self-consciousness seems very immature and foolish, but potential is wide open. As we appear to age, our worldly knowledge increases and the self-consciousness seems a lot wiser. By adulthood, many have allowed worldly experience to narrow down and collapse the seemingly limitless potentials. This might be because the adult has focused in on a chosen specialty in life, tuning out other possibilities. But it also might be due bitterness and fear clouding perception as a result of unintegrated trauma.
