Your Money Or Your Mind?
Mental and spiritual attitude is often cured by the clear intention to act you can't do everything but you can do one thing then another.
It's better to make a wrong choice than none at all begin by listing your priorities for the day for the week for the month, divide them into A, B and C categories and at the least accomplish the A items.
Try the same thing with long-term goals. Priorities to shift and you can change them at any time but simply getting them down in black and white adds clarity to life and clarity creates energy.
Make commitments. There's nothing quite so energizing as a tough, firm deadline as is well known to anyone who has faced an opening night curtain, a business-deal closing date or a deadline.
The gift of an externally imposed deadline isn’t always available, and you might have to set one for yourself. But take it seriously. One way to do this is to make it public. Tell people who are important in your life. The firmer the deadline, the harder it is to break.
Keep moving. Take time for wise planning but don’t take for ever. Whatever you can do, or think you can do, begin it.
Always keep in mind that you can’t hoard energy abd you can’t build it up by not using it. Adequate rest is part of any action plan, but unaccompanied by positive action, rest may only depress you.
It might well be that depression can ultimately be traced to a unused energy of untapped potential. There's enough constructive creative work for everybody with plenty left over all of us can increase the energy starting now.
