Structural Violence

Today we sadly live in a very violent world in which structural violence prevails. We are not even aware of it that much and even if we do, the vast majority of youth does not care. Just think. Every day we are conditioned like some sort of lab animals to think that the system has to lay off some workers, for we have to understand that because we are rational. Seemingly thinking that they (representatives of the system) will do this in a very gentle way so we as a whole will not suffer too much, because even they are "rational". Meanwhile they increasingly frighten everyone that the belt needs to be tightened, everyone needs to save up as much as possible, we have to deny ourselves for a period of time and after that it will all be back to being ok again. It is like them (representatives of the system) saying: "believe us, trust us, after all we know what we are doing, every crises has passed sooner or later, meaning even this one will." While adding that they are advocating strongly for the freedom of individuals and the quality of life for every single member of our "great" society.

Seems like our only and sole duty is to: BELIEVE! To believe in them (representatives of the system) and just lay down on our couch and trust the experts. Then we can simply take the remote for the television and with a tightened belt (meaning that we have to endure hardships) simply wait for the better times to come for which they will take care of it themselves.
In truth they are cynical, they are of all the things: powerless. They don't know anything else then being greedy, depressive and less and less intelligent. They don't even know what is happening even thou they are so called experts, but in comparison to them, we know even less because we believe them. In some countries (like in ex yugoslavia) the people in parliament have difficulties in showing a valid certificate for their bachelor's degree, but it seems even that is not a big issue. People silently tolerate conditioning, threats and violence. We are submissive, we suffer instead we resist and think alternatively.

Resisting is needed and necessary. In the past we have some great examples that show us how to do it and what it means to do it. One of the better examples is Edward Snowden. His action is a simple yet powerful expression of love for everyone. We must absolutely not misunderstand that.

Other great examples talk about violence from our closest others, but how do we understand this yet alone accept it, that which spontaneously resists us? Aren't we supposed to love everyone near us unconditionally?

We can accept this only on one way. We are aware that this love could be interpreted as a love for the humanity and not for some specifically person or personality. We learn that everyone is already in this kind of relation only that we (most of us) don't know that yet. Because when i love another human, i already am in a relation to humanity which we must love even more that that particular person, regardless if it's a neighbour, parents, children, etc... This love exceeds every specific person, consequently also exceeding the politicians and bankers in which we should not place our trust and belief in.

Every thinking of love must also consider what was written, while also being bound? to what Slavoj Žižek calls emancipatory violence.

This kind of violence is ethical. We must not think that being ethical only means being nice, non confrontational and smoke marijuana at a camp fire thinking that everyone has a right to his or hers own opinions. Remember the time when the Wall Street lawyers used this as an excuse for the bankers. What being ethical means: coming with a sword in our hands and dividing things but not killing.

Coming with a sword in hand means two different things.

First: people are already divided for they themselves are put into placed, one group is called the lords the other is called workers. That not being enough they go into conflicts within themselves in each of the groups instead of working together to accomplish a greater goal.
Second: divide which is seemingly undivided, the imaginary world of government ruling. People because of them do not recognise the everyday systematic, symbolic and structural violence which is the requirement for the impresion that we live in a normal world.

As mentioned in above, some great examples know that we do not live in a normal world, that this world is merely an illusion which people are willing to love more than themselves.

When people finally start being aware of the violence that occurs every day, the normality of the world dissipates.
In this modern day, we must do the same, we must repeat the gesture, divide what is seemingly undivided.

Violence on us is not just locally, it's going on around the world. Just look at the news, no need to believe me. Not long ago we all heard that we have to save the banks, for if they did fail, the repercussion would be too devastating. We could also notice that Iran poses a great threat to our free world.

Noam Chomsky explained very well that Iran is no threat.
He also mentioned that understanding real threats we must not forget who invaded Iraq more than a decade ago now, without any reason. Only a few ware upset about that. We must also know that the most dangerous weapon is not a atomic bomb, but an ideology.

Real threat to this world is neoliberal hypercapitalism as an ideology and not any other country. So the problem is somewhere else, it's in the hands of the ruling class. Chomsky also said that every power (regime) is illegitimate by default unless it is able to convince us otherwise. This is what we are noticing in the present day, the need to believe in the system - regime.

Anarchy thus does not mean being lawlessness, but rather means a turn in the way of thinking in which the workers no longer behave as workers for the lords, but call the lords on defence and if they are not convincing enough, a swift and simple dismissal is in order.

Today firing the workers is "ethical" and emancipatory. But in reality if anyone should be firing anyone, it would be that the workers firing the bankers and everyone in the political system who caused the recession and crisis. The lords have already proven that they are incapable of doing their jobs, are not able to run banks nor corporations. They know even less on how the capitalistic economy should work, for they are responsible for the workers on the market which are left defenceless to misery and poverty. So the lords only dream about capitalism and profit, neglecting everyone else. So what is the point of keeping them in the ruling position?
