Inverted Capitalism - Agorism at it's best?

What needs to be resolved

Capitalism is in essence about personal ownership of assets and privileges. Socialism in the opposite corner is about shared resources and responsibilities.

These essential and apparently opposite drivers of human behavior have resulted over time in the precipitation of truly opposite ideologies that found expression in truly opposing socio-economic structures, neither of which resulting in the desired outcome, namely lasting happiness for all.

The 'capitalist' motive got hijacked by greed; the socialist ideal got tangled in a smothering totalitarian administrative mess.

Fact of the matter is that these opposing forces in us - the need to cover your own back, versus the need to interact with one another to the benefit of all - have to function at the same time in a complementary fashion in order to obtain the best result.

The Question is How?

Politics won't work - the principles involved are too subtle to communicate effectively to all and sundry at this point; neither will religion - the beliefs embedded in in various cultures are too rigid.

Agorism, i.e., the idea of creating a society comprised of free individuals contributing to the general well being of all at free will, specifically by the application of economic factors to this effect, has, as far as I can see, not gelled into anything functionally useful yet.

But now, thanks to the decentralising ability of blockchain technology, at last a crystal is taking shape - it is now possible to devise an economic mechanism that can restore the agora to it's original proper form - a means of voluntary interaction that by its inherent nature induces a healthy socio-economic intercourse.

So what could this magic mechanism be?

In short : economic independence of the individual

And what would it look like?

If we can imagine an inverse form of capitalism, as suggested in my previous post, a social contract, that I guess we can call 'Inverted Capitalism', where every single individual is the secure owner of a magic wallet that magically fills every day with sufficient purchasing power to cover the daily needs for survival (and nothing more), what would we have then?

Wouldn't we in fact have something close to our original Eden-like condition, where everyone had the freedom to harvest the fruits of nature as required and where everyone had the freedom to move around to where these resources served them best, or to wherever they wished to be? How close to the ideal would this be?

Breaking the bond

A magic wallet like this, I think, is probably the best and most neutral device we may be capable of inventing, as a surrogate means for accessing those basic resources we need in constant supply in order to survive on and enjoy freedom, as nature earlier in our existence afforded us.

Today there are two major factors that divorce us from direct access to the fruits of nature. The one is the tyrannical dictate of government (in especially socialist societies) and of mega corporations (more so in the capitalist world) that to a very large degree have taken ownership of those resources. The other is urbanisation, which simply puts those resources out of reach.

Urbanization is less likely to be undone in a hurry, and purcasing power in the right hands can compensate for this by importing goods from elsewhere.

Tyrannical ownership of the resource capital rightfully belonging to all with a right to life, is what needs to be addressed as effectively as possible.

And wouldn't a mechanism like this have the desired effect?
